    Duration: 2012-2015

Sponsorship: Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie (BMWi)

    Contact person:

CUBES: Community Usability of company-based software for small and medium-sized companies (SME)
The project Cubes was funded in the period 01.11.2012 – 31.10.2015 within the framework of the funding initiative “Einfach intuitiv – Usability für den Mittelstand” by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi). Thus it belongs to the projects of Mittelstand-Digital. With “Mittelstand-Digital”, the BMWi supports digitalisation in small and medium-sized enterprises and the skilled crafts and trades. The CUBES approach has the following goals:

    • development of a lightweight model of approach designed especially for SME
    • compilation of internet-based usability methods that can be easily embedded into the developmental practice of SMEs
    • novel combination of remote usability and user community methods
    • implementation of support systems to improve the product-focused dialogue between developers and user communities
