    Juri Dachtera studierte European Studies an den Universitäten Maastricht und Warschau (B. A.) sowie Wissenschafts- und Technikforschung an der Universität Bielefeld und der ETH Zürich (M. A.). Während seines Studiums arbeitete er als studentischer Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Wirtschaftsinformatik und neue Medien der Universität Siegen sowie am Fraunhofer Institut für angewandte Informationstechnik (FIT) in verschiedenen nationalen und EU-Projekten. Dort schrieb er auch seine Masterarbeit über das Projekt „Landmarke“, in der er mit qualitativen empirischen Methoden die Kooperation im Forschungsverbund analysierte. Seit 10/2011 ist Juri Dachtera wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Wirtschaftsinformatik und neue Medien der Universität Siegen. Seine Forschungsinteressen liegen in den Bereichen qualitative Forschung, Wissens- und Wissenschaftsmanagement und Techniksoziologie.
