Pre-CHI 2025 (02.04-04.04.2025)

To enable researchers from Germany and its neighboring countries to come together before the annual CHI takes place, to present and discuss their accepted CHI 2025 papers, the University of Siegen, in cooperation with the Institute for Socioinformatics Bonn (IISI) and the non-profit Society for Digitized and Sustainable Cooperation (DNZ), is organizing this year’s Pre-CHI in Siegen.
The event also offers the younger HCI community the chance to get to grips with the requirements that a conference like the CHI entails. Whether students or professors – everyone who is interested in the world of HCI is welcome.
The two-day event will feature various presentations followed by discussions, workshops, roundtable discussions and demo sessions. There will also be plenty of time to talk informally about individual research results and papers over lunch or dinner or the lab tours.
To be optimally prepared for the CHI, this event offers the respective speakers useful tips and assistance.
