Parastou Azari pursued her academic journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, followed by a Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineeringat the university of Siegen. There, she delved into projects revolving around cutting-edge technologies, such as autonomous parking systems employing a multimodal deep learning approach, and developing knowledge-based coaching systems tailored for older adults.
Throughout her studies, Parastou engaged in diverse international projects, notably contributing to initiatives like e-VITA within technical teams. Post-graduation, she transitioned seamlessly into the realm of research, assuming the role of a research assistant at the esteemed Chair of Information Systems and New Media. Parastou’s research interests gravitate towards various branches of Artificial Intelligence, including machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing, coupled with an emphasis on knowledge-based systems.
